In another thread ( http://www.zoochat.com/2/come-dine-me-395682/?highlight=wallace ) I've already told I would like to meet a large number of fellow ZooChatters because I'm the opinion that ZooChatters are very intresting people which have a lot of experience with zoos and have a lot to tell !
In fact I would like to meet almost every ZooChatter ( with a very few exeptions ) but I was thinking which ones would be on mine Top 5 list and came to the conclusion that this is my list :
    - gentle lemur
    - Chlidonias
    - Hix
    - carlos55
    - ThylacineAlive
If you are not on my list, this will not mean that I don't would love to meet you because this surtainly is NOT the case but the 5 above persons seem to me the most intresting persons which have loads of stories to tell !

    Well I am quite honored!:)

Fingers crossed I'll be able to meet you some day as you no doubt have many more stories to tell than I do. In fact, you may find yourself a tad disappointed as I'm only 18 and actually have no zoo work and very little field work experience:p While I'm sure I have some stories you'd enjoy there are certainly many others with many more interesting ones!

It is a little bit uncomfortable to answer and to list 5, but I will try:

    1. jayjds2
    2. Arizona Docent
    3. LaughingDove
    4. Kifaru Bwana
    5. Shonen Jake

    ***
    (6. Chlidonias
    7. vogelcommando
    8. Batto (because of critics toward me? )
    9. nicholas (Sweden)
    10. TeaLovingDave)
:) sorry for breaking the rule of listing just 5, but I will delete the last 5 if that's needed.

Interesting thread, after some consideration these would be my 5 "choices", though I couldn't name someone atm who I definately would want to avoid :p

    - Gentle lemur
    - Vogelcommando
    - Hix
    - Chlidonias
    - Laughingdove

Also Kifaru Bwana, but I met him once years ago, so he doesn't fit the criteria, but I would like to see him again ;)

So if anyone of you makes it to Switzerland (or east Africa...) ;)

I'll bite :) couldn't quite narrow it down to five, so here are six in no particular order.

    Hix
    Chlidonias
    Batto
    vogelcommando
    jbnbsn99
    lintworm

I was only able to get it down to seven (in no particular order):
    jbnbsn99
    Chlidonias
    David Brown
    UngulateNerd92
    Hix
    Al
    vogelcommando

Also an honorable mention because she doesn't seem to log in anymore:
    AgileGibbon

Man this would have been a lot harder to compile about a month ago:p

there are some names which seem to pop up on all the lists! I think people are just choosing the members who post the most, and over a wide range of subjects and forum sections, so they feel like they "know" them the best.

I'm not interesting to meet - I'm like The Phantom Menace: you think you want to see it, may even be excited about seeing it, but when it comes down to it the result is "meh".

Not very interesting considering most of the people on my list are from the chatroom but here you go... (In no order):
    1) Thylacinealive
    2) TeaLovingDave
    3) Gulo gulo
    4) ro6ca66
    5) Bongorob
    6) LaughingDove
And out of sheer curiosity zoogiraffe:D

In my case, it's just the fact that I have talked with some of these members for around a year and a half now (which is absolutely nothing compared to others but still) and I would love to get to know them a little bit better

(But of course I'd be thrilled to meet other zoochatters as well!!)

Wow, there are actually people that want to meet me! :p
    I feel honoured!

There are way more than five zoochatters that I really want to meet, and I'd love to meet any (ok, most ;)) zoochatters, because I haven't had the opportunity to do so at all yet. :)

Being "very interesting" is something of a pre-requisite for being a zoonerd :p sometimes it's like Willow Farm in here!

We've got everything, we're growing everything,
    We've got some in
    We've got some out
We've got some wild things floating about

What a tough list to make. In no particular order, mine would be
    -Arizona Docent
    -ThylacineAlive
    -Vogelcommando
    -Devilfish
    -Hix

But I'm sure all of you are interesting one one way or another.

I just discovered this thread (thanks to elefante for the bump).

There is a related thread where people list those they have actually met: Who and how many zoochatters have you met?

I am deeply honored to be listed on this thread more than once. What is shocking is that snowleopard is not showing up. He is almost certainly the most interesting and well informed ZooChat member from North America and the one I would most consider a personal friend of the ZooChatters I have met. Certainly lots of members love/crave/adore his in depth road trip reports.
