Hi Dear Zoochaters, I will travel to Paris in July with my wife and my two kids (10, 14 ) and want to visit Zoopark de Beauval in one day. (We don't drive) Kindly ask for your advices, which is easiest way to reach the park for one day with public transport and is it worth the effort ? Have someone used the coach shuttle from Paris and do we need special reservation for it ? Any advices and tips for visiting the bird show and planning the trip inside the zoo are also very welcome . Last, but not least, I would very much appreciate any tips, about travelling France and Paris in general. Thank you in advance and have a great weekend
I am hoping to get to Paris soon and would be interested to hear of connections to Beauval, my priority is the Jardin Des Plantes in the city centre, mouthwatering hoofstock for me. The Parc Des Felins also looks like it is within striking distance too.
@CGSwans managed it on his jaunt around Europe, but he had to get up ridiculously early if I recall correctly.
It is doable from early April, when here’s a shuttle bus that connects with the fast train from Paris in Blois, but you won’t get a full day there - I think I had about 5.5 hours. And yes, it was a very early start.
Thank you for the fast responses Get up early is not an issue, as soon as we get there. @CGSwans Is the shuttle from Blois travels only during the weekends or it's available in weekdays also ? P.S. Seems like this is the best option: Autocar FH - Trajets touristiques
Can't help re: Beauval, but to get to Parc des Felins from Paris using public transport, get a TGV to Melun and a coach to the park (five minute walk), so quite easily done without your own car (I did this four years ago).
