I want to go to Berlin zoo and Berlin tierpark in middle August. My biggest interest is the trumpet manucode (Phonygrammus keraudrenii), the last of Europe. But I was told, one or two years ago already, that this bird is very old. It's still alive? In good health? This would be the main reason for a so long travel so I hope to don't find bad surprise!

    Thanks,
    Isidro

The Trumped manucode sits in the Pheasantry, so no panic, you will see it for sure!
