I don't want to ruin anything for you (I still watch myself) but unfortunately you might not be recommending the show to people once you hit season 3..

The spin-off, The Flash, is still fantastic, though.

Nah that's ok. You all said that 'Heroes' went downhill after Season 1, but I loved every episode and season.

Yeah, and didn't really get into it.

I was initially put off by all the excessive hyper-advertising Channel Nine did in the lead up to it.

    :p

I'm halfway through Season 3 and there are no complaints from me thus far. You can't go wrong with a second-hand DVD of Season 1 I think.

I watched Stranger things some days ago and I really can't wait for the 2nd season (if there is one planned) .

I should get around to watching it in August. Is it any good? It looks like a slow burner and reminds me of Super 8.

I personally really liked it . It has some good , well-known actors (such as Winona Ryder) and others that are less-known but just as good (e.g Millie Brown) but indeed it's a slow burner (still there are only 8 episodes yet)

And apparently there will be a 2nd season ! :D

I just finished Season 3, and loved it to the end! I'm looking forward to Season 4 of Arrow, Season 2 of Flash, and Season 1 of Legends of Tomorrow (the Arrow-Flash spinoff). The real question is when they will be available on Aussie streaming services. Maybe 2017, so I have quite a few shows to catch up on in the interim.

Fair enough, season 4 is different but better than 3 imo so hopefully you'll enjoy it much more than I did! Absolutely loved Flash and thoroughly enjoyed LOT.

Recently finished watching the first 5 seasons of the Walking Dead.
I really liked it, although it could drag on at times.
There's some great characters (Mostly Daryl and Michonne)
Some of the characters are annoying or badly written (Especially Sasha).
Now I have to wait for season 6 to hit Netflix in my country.

Also finished Orange is the New Black season 4, which was a huge improvement over the not so good third season. And what an ending!

Finally got to see American Horror Story: Freak Show. I was really disappointed. Lame storyline, too much drama, not enough horror, annoying characters.
Sarah Paulson and Jessica Lange were great in other seasons but I disliked them both in this one.
Finn Wittrock did a great job though.

Also waiting for new seasons of Grimm and Once Upon a Time.

I bought and just finished watching Season 4 of Continuum. The series was cancelled, so the network gave them just 6 episodes to wrap it all up. I think they did a relatively good job in tying up loose ends and giving fans some closure. You aren't guaranteed to like where some characters end up, but at least you aren't left hanging like for some other series that weren't renewed.

Just finished watching Season 2 of 'Unreal' - the dramedy about the production of the bachelor. Riveting as usual.

I have just started on Season 2 of Scream (the TV series based on the movie from 20 years ago), and it's delivering as usual.

If you have Netflix there, they will upload all Star Trek series and movies by the end of the year.

    Thanks, but:

    1. We don't have Netflix, we don't even have cable.
    2. I already have everything Trek on DVD except the animated series (which I'm not interested in), albeit currently in a shipping container in storage in a warehouse somewhere in rural NSW.

    But thanks anyway!

    :p

I am very much enjoying 'The Last Ship' now that I'm half-way through Season 3. It's like a big budget recruitment tool for the US Navy courtesy Michael Bay. And like all Michael Bay movies, the eye candy isn't just the military hardware.
