Finally! I didn't want to announce it prematurely as everyone was nervous what will happen.

Some more info: Born on April 14th to female imported from USA and it's probably a female

You mean yesterday? (21st May?) Wow, she really took her time, everybody was expecting it much sooner (and she pretty much acted like that as well). Hopefully everything will be ok this time, unlike her two previous births

3.0 Rufous bettong arrived from Hamerton and apparently more rarities arrived recently but rather than naming them, the head zoologist told me to "go and try to look for them by myself" so...yeah...:D

Some Zoochat users may already know it (especially those who have a habit of scanning collections on zootierliste in search for collection updates :D ) but in February, 1.1 White-tailed antsangy arrived.

Also, Siberian flying squirrels (Pteromys volans) are now on show in the former raven aviary.

17 y.o. Babirusa female Johana was put to sleep last week (health reasons).

Apparently, they can be seen early in the morning or in late afternoon. But so far, I had no time to verify that.

But PM me if/when the time of your visit comes and we'll see what can be done, usually it's not a problem when Zoomaniac visits and has a reasonable wish.

Geographically out-of-place, but a bloody nice species nonetheless :)
