I have a similar problem. Any pictures I post which were taken in portrait mode are displayed on their sides, i.e., in landscape mode. Makes viewing them quite awkward or I just don't bother posting them.

you probably need to rotate the photo on your laptop or other device before uploading. I have this problem on the laptop I have with me, where vertical photos are of correct orientation on the screen but upload sideways. Never had them upload upside-down though?

However if the problem is happening on the same device which worked before then I guess it is a bug in the website.

As far as I know, photos on here can't be rotated once uploaded, they have to be deleted and re-uploaded.

    Thanks C,

What l find interesting is that it seems that for some people the photos are up the right way and for others they are not!

were you holding your camera upside-down when taking the photos?

I would suggest using whatever photo editor you have on your computer to rotate the photos and re-upload them once done so (and the current upside down ones can then be deleted). When you open the photos using the editor it should tell you the photo is upside down or sideways so that you can correct the orientation.

For Jackwow same thing, use your photo editor to rotate portrait shots before uploading.
