A new Sea Life is planned for New Jersey. I had little respect for the chain before, but after reading about this one my lack of respect is turning to loathing. While I had to make sure it wasn't an article published by The Onion, given the faux "Nemo submarine", Atlantis, mermaids, faux coral motives etc. in previous establishments of this chain, it shouldn't surprise this would be the next (logical?) step. How the visitors will understand the self-declared "conservation message" has yet to be seen.

I don't know, I think there's a pretty strong conservation message to be gained from seeing New York City underwater. Just think of it as foreshadowing

The brand-new St. Louis Aquarium opened recently (on Christmas Day!) to long lines and hopefully it's a popular attraction to a city that already has a fantastic zoo.
