In response to the oil spill in English Bay, the Vancouver Aquarium has said it sent out a team to search for wildlife that may be at risk.

At least they tried their hardest with Hana and hopefully all of the specialists involved learned a great deal that might give another whale, dolphin or porpoise a better chance in the future.

I'm so sad about Hana, I always thought she was quite a gal. I think that we should keep in mind that no one had really done anything like her surgery before and any new creation is bound to have a few bugs. Hopefully what we learn from her case will mean that future cases will have better outcomes.

I'm glad that Chester will have a new home at the Aquarium, and that Helen will not be alone for too long. Its a shame Hana won't be around to meet Chester with her.

Yeah, even though Hana died, at least some new stuff was learned. At least Helen will have a new companion, hopefully they'll get along.
