    Hi,
I'm new to the chat. I'm not sure if this is the right forum but I am looking to find people with experience/information on breeding varanus acanthurus (red ackies).
If this is not the right forum would anyone be able to guide me in the right direction.
    Thanks,
    Hal

    Welcome!

There might be a few people on here that have experience with V. acanthurus.

    Hello and thank you!

I currently have 4 varanus acanthurus around 8 months old now, being kept together for now. Everyone seems to get along. I am setting up another custom pvc enclosure matching this one at 4'x2'x3' with about 10" of eco earth sand mixture. I was going to pair them off in the separate cages but it looks so far like I have a 1.3 ratio. So I may use it for the most submissive and gravid females to nest. I have witnessed the male copulate with 2 of the "females" so far. I was able to see his penes penetrate. I would be grateful for any experienced guidance.
    Thanks

Is there any way to upload larger file photos?

I don't think so, unless you manage to use the 'Upload the file' button and it lets you. I tried earlier.
