I've just found hidden away this old London Zoo map, drawn by JP Sayer and cost sixpence! Can anyone help me with the year of printing and is anyone interested in buying it?!

Assuming this map dates from 1949, it curiously fails to show the two rarest and most valuable animals in the entire collection - Lien-Ho, the male Giant Panda (resident 1946-1950) and of course Guy the male Western Gorilla, who arrived in 1947.

There is a reference to pandas by the penguin pool but going by the size of the enclosure I assume they mean red pandas.

on Zooplantman's first link the article says it is the 1949 leaflet, but also says "I think this was part of a series of 12 picture maps of London that Sayer did for the Strand Magazine in 1946."
