All Tortoise's were kept inside as i suspected due to Winter and hibernation coming up.
Work is coming along nicely for the Goeldi's Marmoset Outdoor enclosure.
The Cafe inside the Zoo is shut.
At the children's Zoo "Rudolph" The Kune kune Pig has been moved out of his old enclosure due to messing it up he is now in an enclosure next to the Aardvark's Laurel And Arnie.

    Blackpool Zoo donkeys

I understand that Danny, Blackpool's male mini donkey, has been living at the home of a member of staff since early 2009.

Wasn't he sent on breeding loan to the Cotswold Wildlife Park? I know they received a male on loan from somewhere 'up north'.

    Mini donkey

Danny was loaned to Cotswold in Spring, 2009, to cover their donkey mare which resulted in the birth of their male foal this year. He was there for about 3 months before returning to his "home" where he has remained since. Danny is a very consistent little stallion and, all being well, has 2 foals due at Blackpool in spring, 2011. The mares were taken to visit him on this occasion.

Danny is only to father one foal at Blackpool Zoo this year.
