Vultures and Deer mixed species exhibit.

    I was going through some old photos from 1990's and earlier, and came across this one of a mixed species exhibit. Unfortunately I can't remember where it was, but wondered if these two species get along with each other, and if anyone can recognise where it was. IMG_1551.JPG

    It is not a deer but a Sitatunga, but that is all I can help you with....

    I know Duisburg also did mix ungulates with vultures in an old-fashioned setting like this. Many zoos have kept/keep vultures in savannah enclosures, which makes the vultures little more than living ornaments...

    If it's Europe it must be Antwerp, as that's the only zoo I went to overseas at that time otherwise it's in UK somewhere.Thanks for the ID on the Sitatunga.

    I'm pretty sure there is also a Demoiselle Crane just below the logs at their right end.

    Yes, and a Gray Crowned Crane to the left of that.

    Definitely Antwerp; take a look at this video from the 1970s which shows the same combination:
