And zoo bizar in the netherlands has Armadillos, fruitbats, and skunks roaming freely and easily pettable.

I think walkthroughs mainly depend on individual animals and less on species

I heard also that a walkthrough aviary in Rotterdam zoo has a mongoose species living together with vultures and marabous.

I don't think that could be right, they wouldn't be able to go together with secretary birds

I don't think that has ever happened in Rotterdam. In Magdeburg this mix exists with Yellow Mongoose.

I just found out that Kobe Animal kingdom has Shoebill storks in a full walkthrough aviary

    Google Maps

As well as a deer species that I can't make out and pelicans, cranes, flamingos, and lemurs

Man, this is going on my bucket list

The deer species that you refer to looks like a sitatunga.

You're right, but it must be a female batchelor group

Tampa had Shoebill in a walkthrough, and Mesker Park has a Sitatunga walkthrough. So it's not just Japan. ;)

San Diego zoo also has shoebill in a semi-walkthrough, but I had never heard of them in a full walkthrough before

Can't find any pictures of the zoo Tampa walkthrough, do you have any pictures?

No they don't... the Safari Park has a pair on the big waterfowl pond but they stay on the island as far as I know.

Part of Tampa's. Seems maybe not exactly a walkthrough.

Yes, but I got confused between the exhibits. I meant the semi-walkthrough in Tampa
