Just a quick question; do we no longer have a 'New Comments' button, or have I just not found it yet?

I see the 'New Posts' and the 'New Media' which seems to be equivalent to what was 'New Photos' on the old site, but on the old site there was a button specifically for photos with new comments on them, so do we have a button for that on the new site?

Just tried this myself. I quite like the subtitle of basic information (species, details of individual, enclosure and date) and then the comment could explain why the photo was posted. But I don't think we can be dogmatic about this.

Yes, I'm still trying to work out exactly how they deal with gallery comments.

I'm not sure there's actually a mechanism to search for new comments - which is very much an oversight.

I will investigate and see what I can do about building something myself - will also request the devs include this functionality in the core product.

Further to this, a quick investigation reveals there isn't a way of doing this currently - so I'll have to write that functionality myself. Will take a couple of weeks for me to get to that.

In the meantime, there is a list of recent comments on the gallery list:

(But I do note that there is no date or user information associated with it ... I'll try and fix that too so that it works more like the New Posts box on the home page)

Thanks for all the work that you put into this site, Sim, and I'm sure problems like these will get worked out in the long run.

Is there a way to view a longer list of recent comments than just the most recent four shown there?

I have posted a couple of bits in the Belgian & French forums, to which i have attached publicity photos from said zoos FB pages. am I ok to do this?

As well as perhaps our first video on the Chester thread :)

Ideally I'd like to see you acknowledge the source of photos that you embed in threads, but otherwise I'm okay with it.

I'm really enjoying this new site. I was going a little crazy not being able to catch up on some zoo news. Hahaha.

It's a lot easier to navigate--especially on mobile devices. Great job, guys!

Also have to get used to the "new"ZooChat ! By going use it regulary ( ;) ) I think I will discover the new possibilities and its not the set-up but the information provided / given / asked which count and with so many skilled people this will stay at the niveau it always have been, I'm sure ! Thanks for the time you spend on it Sim and hopefully your "child"will grow and grow and even more people will discover "our" site !

The site is interesting, I'm yet to make a proper decision on whether I prefer it or not though...

On my Post Count it says I have posted 799 times, but before the move it was higher, so I was wondering why it has changed (some of my earlier posts I would happily have deleted though...)?
