On a more positive note, the Gorilla enclosure is well under way. I've got a copy of the plans, but unfortunately wouldn't be able to release them as they'd be covered by an NDA.

Absolute nonsense. I've seen a copy too. Everybody at the zoo has access to them. They're not in any way some big secret.

As I said - I've only seen them, I don't actually have them. About the only thing of note is that there appears to be two separate exhibits, not one, which means the group is probably expected to expand in the future.

I was mostly just objecting to m575's repeated big-noting about his Werribee contacts. You work there. We get it.

regardless of what m575 does, does anyone know roughly what is happening to the yards out the back for the zebras. are they staying/going?

    Cheetah Exhibit Undergoes Renovations

The cheetah exhibit is currently undergoing renovations which will see it doubled in size.

Thanks Lou, Good idea giving them more room also a better outlook for the public to see them with other African species in the distance.

I hope Werribee can expand at some stage with a much bigger Asian area which could see maybe elephants and rhino in the furture

I have a question, is the pula trail complete regarding exhibits? or are there more planned to be built there?

and what is the $25million jungle precinct going to include?
