The offerings from Chester and Berlin have so far been the most impressive I’ve seen.

I bought the baubles painted by the sea lions from Colchester this year, I thought that was a pretty sweet idea.

I got a magnet from each zoo in Berlin. Thinking of starting to collect them. Giant Panda and Snow Leopard were on the magnets.

I'll keep an eye out for the ones in Berlin then! I can't remember Chester's, other than there being at least one with an elephant...

They have added some pleasant new offerings recently - I managed to pick up a couple of quite snazzy bear magnets!

I also picked up a jaguar magnet and a black rhino magnet just to even things out!

Sounds like quite the variety. May visit this weekend, still need to see the new penguin pool and find out the mystery of the new cat species hopefully.

Also, Chester Zoo has it's own set of Top Trumps! Who could forget about those?

Yes! I spotted these on my last visit! I was very impressed with the idea when I saw that Colchester did them, I thought that was great, so I guess this is perhaps a new thing for me to start to collect, as I have now bought both sets.

I'm slowly building a collection of Bristol zoo "stuff" - guidebooks, leaflets, books, badges and keyrings.

In general I try to buy a badge from each zoo I go to... if they dont have one I'll get a keyring. Then I'll always get the leaflet and a guidebook :)

On my last three zoo visits I have got a "magnetic monkey," I have four of them now because the first of those visits was for my birthday 50 and my little nephew bought me one too. The one I bought at Barcelona is actually a lemur and the only one of the four to have a tail. :)

I have a pretty good collection of Zoo Guides from Europe. Lately it’s been Magnets. I also have a great collection of animal figurines (although many of them are not directly from Zoos, I was introduced to CollectA at a Zoo gift shop in Texas).
