    I find an iiwi much more interesting than a bearded barbet :D but good photo anyway :)

    I do too. :)

    When I joined, I wanted my avatar to be a bird picture I took. At the time, all my pictures were with cell phones or your average point-and-shoot camera, so I filled it in with an Iiwi picture from the internet.

    I recently got a nice digital camera, so I am taking much better photos now. That's why I switched it. ;)

    I knew I wanted mine to be of my eternal muse, the okapi, but wanted something different from just a photo of one. I eventually came across this clay one made by DragonsAndBeasties on deviantART and was immediately smitten: Little Okapi

    My current avatar is a photo of me and my friend Tom with a gorilla statue at Blackpool Zoo. I was giving him and his girlfriend a tour whilst working there in the summer.

    I think I've had five profile pics in the past? Maybe six? I can't remember. At a couple points I had Thylacines (of course), once I had the old WCS logo with the gazelles I think, and my last one was a photo of London Zoo's old Panay Bushy-Tailed Cloud Rats.

    My current one is, of course, a big pile of rocks!
