What if... Colchester zoo acquired African elephants from the breeding program to join Tanya and Zola when Elephant Kingdom opened instead of saving the Chipperfield elephants? What if Rosa didn't have reproductive issues after giving birth to Jambo? What if Zolas calves and Opals calf all survived and made it to adulthood? This is my first thread and it is about what could have been with Colchester zoos' elephants. I accept any feedback.
I have suggestions for all of Zola's and Tanya's calfs Zola's offspring 1.0 Jabari (Tembo x Zola) 1.0 Kibo (Tembo x Zola) 1.0 Shaka (Tembo x Zola) Opal's offspring 1.0 Tufani (Jack x Opal) What if more calves were born Rosa's offspring 1.0 Jambo (Tembo x Rosa) 0.1 Rose (Tembo x Rosa) 0.1 Boga (Tembo x Rosa) 1.0 Nukato (Tembo x Rosa) Tanya's offspring 1.0 Kito (Tembo x Tanya) 1.0 Akili (Tembo x Tanya) 0.1 Shani (Tembo x Tanya)
What you have said so far is good, although, I worded this thread in not the best way as I made this more for what could have happened if certain things in Colchester zoos past went a different way in terms of elephants. Despite this what you have said is good and I'm sure you know there is already a thread talking about Colchesters heard in its current state.
I was also wondering if Opal and Zolas calves were alive and female (or if Rosa had more calves that were female) if Colchester would have ended up with a big breeding group, similar to the likes of Whipsnades group and Chesters, but with African elephants.
Both Opal and Zolas calfs were male so either Tanya or Rosa or both females would have had more female offspring
