I have been pondering for a while about possibly building a bird aviary that would house a pair of pheasants and some small birds such as finches,quail e.t.c. If i am to build an aviary i would want it a minimum of 7ft high, 12ft long and 8ft wide. I have a few questions. 1)What specific materials would I need. i.e a certain type of wood/mesh e.t.c 2) what would be the cost of an aviary that size or bigger roughly 3) What are the best birds to house in an aviary. I live in Northern Ireland so the winters can get below -0. Would i need a heated indoor shed? 4) Any additional information, website links, would be much appreciated. I have no problem getting pheasants as i work in a pet farm which breeds them and i could easily get a pair of golden, true silver... Thanks for Reading, Best Regards, squirrelmonkey
