Neither does having Koalas in the Endangered species package, yet they're there anyways. Or having the black leopard as it's own species, or saying the Bengal tiger is the largest of all tigers. I researched this once, looking through all of the lifespans of original and expanded species. The orangutans and Gibbons do not have a lifespan because they don't die. I've tested it myself and sure enough, it becomes evident when they outlive elephants and tortoises.
I'd like to add Chimpanzee and Giant Sable Antelope to this list of species that live forever. I acquired 1.2 GSA and expected the females to have 2-3 offspring and then die. 10 years later and over 20 offspring each later, they're still going strong. With the gibbons, I keep the four youngest offspring, exporting the eldest each time they give birth. They're on their 20th offspring also. It is an absurd glitch when they start outliving elephants and tortoises (they livefor around 3-4 years I think @Jake). Never had a orca die of old age yet btw so they may belong on this list. One female is on her 10th offspring.
Dromedaries I rarely use so I don't know but the download-able Bactrian camels die after a couple years.
