    I wonder how most of the people who open privately owned zoos gain the initial capital. At first I was thinking a business loan, but it could take a long time before you're able to pay that off, assuming you're ever able to.

    If I were looking for a way to make money, a zoo would be too much of a gamble. Only exception is maaaaybe if I built it in a quickly growing city that didn't have a zoo close by.
