I think someone needs to go back and repeat marsupial class at school!

Wait, do schools have marsupial class in America?

In Australasia the classes of the standard school curriculum are English, Maths, Sport, Beer, and Marsupials. We have wallabies and possums in New Zealand, but mostly that class is just so we can keep showing the Australians we are better than them.

Nah, the reason New Zealand only have wallabies and possums is to keep Marsupial simple for the poor dears. For Advanced Marsupial you definitely have to come to Australia.

I've seen so many Virginia Opossums in the wild, but never any in zoos or sanctuaries.

Aside from that, these are the species I've seen:
    Southern Hairy-nosed Wombat (Miami)
    Koala (Miami, Palm Beach, SD)
    Red Kangaroo (Philadelphia, Brevard)
    Western Gray Kangaroo (LA, SDSP)
    Red-necked Wallaby (SDSP)
    Tammar Wallaby (LA)
    Parma Wallaby (SD)
    Yellow-footed Rock Wallaby (LA)
Matschies Tree Kangaroo (Bronx, Miami - also SDSP but did not see)
    Tasmanian Devil (SD)

These are species I never actually saw, but they were apparently on-exhibit at zoos when I went:
    Woylie Bettong (SD)
    Common Wombat (SD)
    Feathertail Glider (Bronx)
