The current orangutans at Cologne Zoo are an elderly female Tilda, who lives alone, and a group of five; subadult male Budi who arrived within the last year as the new breeding male, females Cori (is this who you meant when you said Corris?) and Cajunga, and the offspring of the group; Cori's teenage son Wousan and infant daughter Ciri, and Cajunga's infant daughter Cinta. The father of both the infants was Bornie who came from Antwerp (not sure what's happened to him since) and the father of Wousan was a male called Guru who went to Asia if I'm not mistaken.
When I visited the South America House in 1982, it had a collection of sakis and uakaris, including white-nosed and monk sakis and red, white and balck-headed uakaris. I doubt if I'll ever see such a collection again.
If I am not mistaken it should be lone elderly female + a group of 6 (new sub-adult male, 2 breeding females and 3 offspring).
Cologne is now the only german zoo to house balabac chevrotains (since November 2016). Additional to this, Cologne received 4 Bonobos (2,2) from Berlin Zoo: 1,0 "Limbuko" (21), 1,0 "Kivu" (9), 0,1 "Yala" (35), 0,1 "Batia" (2)
It's has been a few years since kölner zoo presented their masterplan including Walrusses, New savannah, Redesinged South Americahouse....but there isn't much development in recent years. I've seen a few news items about funding for the South America house, but will there new exhibits in the imediate future.
