So I was going through San Diego's old collection and it appears the zoo still has these behind the scnes.
    • Barbary Stag
    • Visayan warty pig
I have no confirmation that they are still there today but I know there were a good number of both and I don't know where they would have been sent
also @ThylacineAlive what is your new profile picture?

I'm confused, San Diego still keeps both species and they're both reflected on my list. The Zoo keeps warty pigs, and the Safari Park keeps the deer. Are you saying you think the Zoo houses both species?

My new pfp is of an old postcard advertising the opening of Bronx's African Plains exhibit. The upper, largely cut off illustration is of the watering hole (today the nyala/crowned crane enclosure) featuring a small variety of African hoofstock evidently present at the time of opening (including the nyala). The lower illustration shows what the main entrance originally looked like, though sadly only the gate and right wall are maintained properly still, without any of the designed. Personally I'd love to see these reinstalled again.

Some photos in the San Diego zoo had visayan warty pigs in the off exhibit hillside area above panda trek, and Barbary or Red deer off exhibit between elephant odyssey and the skyfari station. If they were removed that would make sense.

I have horses mostly done as well, but not formatted the way I've been posting these lists so won't post them for now. I do have plans to go back through and thoroughly update whatever I can, however due to the ever-present time restraints called college, employment, and a relationship, I cannot promise that will be done in a timely manner. I have another essay to write tomorrow as well as an online class, however if I have time I will attempt to get the equids up as well. Cheers :)

    Brookfield keeps Brazillian Tapir.
I'm curious as to your source for Timbavati keeping rhinos?

There are a multitude of photos and videos posted online by Timbavati of a white rhino. They seem to be from 2019 so maybe they got rid of them since then but it looks like they were obtained that year so it'd be odd for them to phase them out so quickly.

Add it to the list of weird things they've somehow obtained then.

White rhinos don't seem to be all that uncommon outside of the AZA. Indian Rhinos are around to an extent, too.

That's... interesting. I wonder where they put them. Do you know if Lupa actually has giraffe?

According to the map they are kept in the top left hand corner. The giraffe passed away I think and has been replaced with zebras

There is, indeed, a single elderly female left off-display.

The only Barbary stag are at the Safari Park-- 0.13, currently. There are no Cervus at the zoo. The Safari Park also still houses herds of Bactrian deer and Indochinese sika and 1.0 Mandarin sika. The Zoo does hold a sizeable group of Visayan warty pigs.

The Audubon Zoo also holds a pair.

Good, that horrendous giraffe house was shameful. I'm glad they no longer house the species.

I missed this easier, but the Columbus Zoo’s last eastern black rhinoceros passed away, so they no longer hold the species.
