    Personally, I find both to be incredibly interesting and of course the plight of both species move me.

    Nevertheless, for this poll I voted based purely on which species I am most fond of.

    So my vote has to go to the red ruffed lemur.

    I find the ruffed lemurs and lemurs in general to be such beautiful primates and I do find them more engaging than the great apes.

    So it looks like the orangutang won this poll, which doesn't really come as much of a suprise to me.
