Which venomous mammal interests you most: the solenodon or the loris ? (poll)

Loris, of course! Cute, dangerous primates worth seeing. The solenodon is like a shrew, it is interesting but doesn't have the cuteness Loris have. But, I would like to see both species someday.

I agree lorises are cute and dangerous but I should say that the solenodon is also (cute in its strange primeaval way) dangerous.

I dont really see the similarity between the solenodon and the agouti really unless you mean in terms of the fur ?

 

Oh, yeah. I got confused, I meant kind of like a shrew. I sometimes find them, a little creepy but I would still see it. Loris are invincible in this cuteness competition.

 

Yes, there is definitely a strong resemblance to the shrews ( some of which are also venomous) , I agree.

 

Another very interesting result from this poll ! The loris won!

It was a very close one and the loris won only narrowly by one point over the solenodon.

This really comes as quite a suprise to me as I was expecting the solenodon to be an underdog from the start and the loris winning to be a certain outcome.

I'm glad that so many zoochatters are fond of these interesting venomous little mammal species as much as I am.
