I know nothing about zoos in Mexico, while traveling to Mexico is quite popular among people around me, so I want to know something about Mexican zoos. Since some wildlife species are restricted to export by Mexican law, the best way to see them is probably going to the zoos in Mexico.

The best zoo for mexican wildlife is zoomat in the southern state of Chiapas which only has regional fauna. However it is dificult to Reach for internacional travellers. Chapultepec and San Juan de Aragón zoos in México city hold Many native species, and are quite accesible. Guadalajara zoo has various native species though not has many as the México City zoos. Near Cancún , Xcaret and Crococun exhibít regional fauna.

The best zoo for Mexican wildlife in relative proximity to Cancun is Valla Zoo in Valladolid (about 2 hours drive from Cancun or Playa del Carmen). It only has regional fauna, including species rare or missing from US and Canadian collections
