Yes, here the AZA decided at least 15 years ago to stop breeding them; the population was just too inbred from too few individuals.

I'm really surprised to see all of those white tigers in New Zealand. Have they ever bred, or are they siblings from one litter?

Rewa (2001) is the mother of the other two - Shanti (2005) and Kala (2006).

Rewa had five cubs born across two litters in 2005, the other four cubs were sent to a wildlife park in South Africa in exchange for white lion cubs; while Shanti remained. Her third litter contained a single male cub, who died in adolescence; followed by her fourth and final litter (female triplets). These three females were loaned to Pouakai Zoo in 2010 - two have since died.

I bet there is some inbreeding here. These cubs have short lives. Only mom Rewa seems to have a normal lifespan.

To my knowledge only two of nine cubs died prematurely (Kahn and Anila). Kahn died as a result of a hernia, that was supposedly present at birth; Anila died of cancer in 2013. Azra has also died recently, but would be at least middle aged if alive now at 14 years.

The cubs sent to South Africa (all born 2005) were Rongo, Kiwi, Aotea and Tane. I don't know whether any of these are still alive.

All white tigers are inbred of course, but I don't know to what degree the Zion imports were related. 3.1 white tigers (Tygo, Abu, Jahdu and Rewa) were imported in 2002; and I believe Rewa bred with both Abu and Jahdu. Tygo sired three litters to an orange tiger named Shikana.

The Beauval zooparc has been welcoming white tigers since 1991: Gorbi and Raîssa brought back from Florida by Françoise Delord. At the time they were the first white tigers in Europe.
They now welcome several white tigers and a baby was born in 2018: Sushi.
The zoo also hosts white lions, including a white lioness who lives alone following human breeding.

The zoo should eventually stop showing white lions, for tigers I don't know.

No they weren't the first white tigers in Europe; Bristol Zoo had white tigers back in the 1960s.

I believe you because I had already seen this info but Beauval does not seem to have the info or does not want to admit it. :D

This is how they communicated at the time ... now they no longer communicate the above but we can always find this info on their site.

Does anyone know any information on the white tigers kept at Zoo Tampa/Lowry Park for a time? It was in 2007 after Enshalla was shot when she escaped, but I have not idea how long they were there, or what happened them.

Siegfried and Roy's Secret Garden houses both white tigers and white lions, though I don't know the amount they have apart from that they seem to have 2 male lions minimum.

Capron Park Zoo in Attleboro, MA has what might be the only non-inbred white lion in the US, a male 'Ramses' who was imported from Johannesburg Zoo. He's sired four cubs, though I don't know where any of the cubs are now. Ramses is now 15 years old and just living out the rest of his life, no longer breeding.
Here's an old article about his arrival: The king of Capron

Chile National Zoo currently has white tigers I believe, and long ago it used to breed them. I recall one time where the news went crazy about three white tiger triplets born at the zoo.

Buin Zoo historically has displayed white tigers, but as far as I know they have never bred white tigers with other white tigers. They used to have an imported female named Fahari alongside a normal male, Theo. They currently house 2 female white tigers together with a normal male, none of which are offspring of the previous ones.

The Safari Park near Rancagua has both white tigers and white lions.

Safari North Wildlife Park had one or two White Tigers when I visited in August of 2021.
Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo had a few White Tigers when I visited in 2016.
Pana'ewa Rainforest Zoo has a single White Tiger

The Gladys Porter Zoo in Texas still has a white tiger. To my knowledge, GPZ doesn't breed tigers, I think the ones they currently have on exhibit are rescue cases but I'm not 100% sure.
