    I've just joined the forum and look forward to reading your posts and sharing my own. As a Wildlife/Equine artist (much of my work can be seen at www.etsy.com/shop/MerryCibulaStudios), I have a great interest in zoo animals and their care, having rescued and cared for many animals myself in my Peace Corps days in Cameroon, W. Africa. I have a particular concern for great apes--Gorillas in particular are favorite subjects in my art.

    Another welcome from a former volunteer in West Africa - I did 2 years of teaching for VSO in Ghana (not as rich in species as Cameroon, unfortunately).
