I quite like short films because they often tell a complete story in under 10 minutes or so. This is a thread to post links to some of your favourite short films. I'll kick things off: here is a link to a recent short film about time travel. The premise is that a guy has built a time machine to go back in time .... One minute at a time, and he uses it (hilariously) to try to pick up a girl. Well worth the 6 minutes or so. http://youtu.be/vBkBS4O3yvY
This looks like a pretty busy thread. Ok, here is another one I came across recently. It's a hilarious scene at a saloon in the 'wild west': https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TXfltmzRG-g
Do you also enjoy short travel videos or is it generally just short films? Because I am a great fan of short travelling videos which show the magic of a place in a short period of time

I guess the Disney/Pixar shorts that air before full-length movies meet this thread's criteria. I saw Inside Out last night (great film), but the short before that, Lava, was beautiful. Its not officially on YouTube, but the full song is, and there is also a dubbed version (so you could watch the dubbed version on mute, and play the song, and get the gist). Here is a short film that my partner was a producer on. I took about a year of lots of people time from starting plans to final editing etc, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W1VyIn6OMdM
