Hi, Recently set up a website for my photos, it's S.Chambers Photography | Zoo Photography in Kent - Home There are a few more photos on flickr, the link is in the header of my site. I've had my DSLR for less than a year so I'm still learning but I think I'm doing ok.
Spike 241 followup: Since you seem to specialize in cats and live in Kent, wondering if you have ever done the guided photo workshop at Wildlife Heritage Foundation? I will be over there next month and am signed up for the one on April 20.
Thanks! I did last September and it was amazing to get so close to the cats. They take you to a mixture of big and small cats and if there's anyone in particular you'd like to see they try to incorporate those too. Andy Porter is great with the photography and keeper side of things. I thought it was well worth the money, that's where I got the serval kitten picture.
https://www.facebook.com/LeeWaddiZooPhotography I'm only just learning so please be nice. Constructive critisism and advice welcomed though.
I am no longer using the cat only website I originally listed in post 23 (it is now just a home page with a link to my new site). My new site is general photography, still has a gallery just for cats but also four galleries of other photos. fine art photography Also have a business page on Facebook for my photography. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fred-Hood-Photography/654544614593926?ref=hl
I have just made a Facebook page where I plan to dump all my wildlife and zoo photos. I'm not a professional by any means - I just like to take snaps. Next photo adventure is Copenhagen Zoo! www.facebook.com/throughaspyglass Through A Spyglass
I've shared my site in other threads, but it fits here, too. I have almost 25,000 original animal photos of more than 3000 species here: The Online Zoo.
I have now joined 500px, a photo sharing site for professional photographers. Only 15 images to start with, but I will be adding on a weekly basis. Here is the direct link to my portfolio, but search through the other photographers for some truly amazing stuff! Fred Hood / 500px EDIT - the previews all crop to a square, so click on a preview to see the full image.
I wish! Actually I took it earlier this week at Reid Park Zoo. First time I have seen one of them sitting in the dense tree instead of the bare branch perches.
I needed a new hobby mid last year after a back problem left me with chronic nerve pain - so I decided to start visiting a few zoos in/around my home town of Sydney, Australia. I currently rotate through Symbio, Featherdale, and Taronga (Sydney) most weekends if it's not bucketing down rain. Have plans to expand my list of zoos/parks visited regularly... I'm no professional, but have invested in an expensive lens for my Canon 60D - it's worth the expense I reckon... Anyways - here is my Flickr page address... regularly updated... http://www.flick.com/photos/tdierikx I hope you enjoy viewing as much as I enjoyed taking them. T.
Arrive a bit late to this thread, but here is my Flickr gallery for those you want - I upload new photos daily. Bárbol
www.zacharyjhandel.com I restarted my gallery so not a whole lot is there yet. The third page shows the most work, including major Before and After edits.
