The zoo is working on animal welfare and started with the improvement of the giraffes enclosure.
Some islands have been created to allow animals to isolate themselves and to put feeding points.
This enclosure must be put down has a very bad but these works are better than nothing. Same work will take place in all the zoo.

The enclosure is extended or remains the same size?
What size is the new giraffe exhibit?

Same size as the enclosure is located in an area that can't be enlarged.
On the picture previously posted you see the major part of the enclosure...

Arrival of 0.1 Burmese Python from Warsaw Zoo.
The Sables d'Olonne Zoo seems to seek for a male to breed the species.
#zoodessables #lessablesdolonne #destinationlessablesdolonne #zoo #python #pythonbivittatus #conservation #especesmenacees #iucn #iucnredlist #vulnerable #savingspeciestogether"
