Don't want to buy just the covers don't know where that came from but again it looks like people jump to conclusions without asking as I never said I wanted to buy any guide books other people did.
Would like to check front covers for Chester, Birdland, WMSP & CWP to see which ones I are missing from my collection.

If you just want a checklist to see what guides are missing from your collection, then you should refer to the Bartlett Society's useful zoo guidebook catalogue.

See the link below for details.

Not really - as it was you who said you'd checked on eBay and it was 'useless' as it just had American adverts. eBay is a sales web-site.
It was your post ref eBay being 'useless' that TLD (and I) responded to.

Yes I did but only as reference to looking on the page for guide books, I take it by the way you answered that everybody who visit's e-bay must buy and not look.

Probably better to have mentioned then, that you were not actually looking for guide-books, only front covers - and did not want to buy them...
Bib Fortuna's offer seemed a very good one to me, but not of course if you dont want to pay for his time...
If you want just front covers, then Google is quite a good place to start. If you enter 'Zoo Guide Books' into the search box, the first web-site to come up is www.zooguides.org.uk which has many front covers illustrated.

Another good option - and rather more complete - is the catalogue of guidebooks provided at the following site.

Les Zoos dans le Monde - Base documentaire

This site is still missing quite a few guides, of course, as it represents the personal collection of one individual.

Thanks TeaLovingDave for advertising my website! ;-) I have indeed all my library gathered and showed here with all books and guidebooks having a scanned front cover. All of it is sorted zoological institution by zoological institution. At the current stage, there are 1,126 guidebooks from British collections shown as well as 6,420 guidebooks in total. Enjoy!

Out of nowhere, I managed to find a guidebook of Banham Zoo from 1991. It was found in one of the public bathrooms of all places.
