A zookeeper in Budapest Zoo told me that some of their Dholes will arrive to Győr Zoo in next months. I have no idea where their enclosure could be located.
Yes, absolutely I visited it in 2019, during two years they rebuilt the Chimpanzee House, built a Penguin, a Hippo and an Elephant House. But they won't stop: the reconstruction of the Himalayan area will start soon. (I guess Dholes will be exhibited there.)
No drawing plans. I thought that only the current species will be exhibited (Asian black bear, White tiger), but now it seems that Dholes will arrive there. As far as I know Red panda and Snow leopard were in the zoo's former plans, but the money isn't enough to build these exhibits.
Can somebody confirm whether this photo of a flying buffalo is taken at Gyor zoo? What is the story about it? gyzr_203.jpg - Click to see more photos on ServImg Also, is it too much to ask, can somebody put a photo of this prop in the Gallery? I am preparing a thread about zoo exhibits and hope to include it.
That is indeed Györ. You could also show the picture here and just put a source next to it. Then the only risk is that the owner, a member of the German Zoofreundeforum puts it down at some point.
