We present ourselves: ZOO KOKI (Parque zoológico y botánico) is born of the illusion and the passion for fauna and flora. Initially we were a small private collection dedicated to the importation of animals and over time we have become a modest zoo center with high hopes. We are aware of the basic pillars of a modern zoo EDUCATION, RECREATION, CONSERVATION and RESEARCH and so we want to move forward. We are in Val de Santo Domingo a town 38 km from Toledo. ¿Cómo llegar? We are a Foundation. The ZOO KOKI foundation has as its main mission to help the conservation of wild fauna and flora. It complements its work with other zoos, institutions, university centers and scientists. Our programs Programas de la fundación – .:: ZOO KOKI::. Parque zoológico y botánico | Fundación ZOO KOKI Our interest is to finish some enclosures and to be able to participate in AIZA in the next 2 years (max). We have 8 Species program (ESB/ESB and others...): Programas: EEP y ESB – .:: ZOO KOKI::. Parque zoológico y botánico | Fundación ZOO KOKI Zoological Collection: We currently have about 150 species of animals. Mainly birds and mammals. In the future (We want everything to go well) we would like to reach 300. Fauna – .:: ZOO KOKI::. Parque zoológico y botánico | Fundación ZOO KOKI We are a modest zoo. With many projects in mind and we want to advance in a correct way and share experiences and collaborations with all zoological environment. Botanical garden: We currently have more than 300 species of plants, distributed throughout the park, many of them planted in recent years. And we are preparing the construction of a cactarium. We currently have 30 species of pheasants in the zoo (not all in exposition). It is one of our little treasures. www.faisanesdelmundo.com is one of the projects that the foundation has available for your knowledge If you want to know us these are the areas of the park (Keep expanding so you can change) Zonas – .:: ZOO KOKI::. Parque zoológico y botánico | Fundación ZOO KOKI Tierra de Felinos In this gallery you will know a small (but very important) group of species (We work hard to expand and improve this area) : El Aviario This is the main aviary. It has been built under the old pheasant fly, it has needed more than 3 years of work and care. Today, it houses more than 60 species of trees and shrubs and about 20 species of birds. If you are a zoo worker and want to visit us you just have to call us and we will be happy to talk with you and show you our little paradise. Website: https://www.zoo-koki.com/

Today I've been in this zoo (It's not the first time, they are wonderful and worker people) The great news are the couple of jaguars, Rudy and Neko, copulating (Hope that in some months we'll see some cubs)
From an ostrich farm of Toledo has arrived a pair of pure blood masai ostrich Struthio camelus massaicus. They're finishing too their birds of prey cages so in a few time we'll be some new species.
SPECIES 360 A lot of effort and a lot of involvement but from today we are already members of Species360. We are happy and proud. It is quite an achievement for a small zoo like us. Here is the news. Miembros de Species360 – .:: ZOO KOKI::. Parque zoológico y botánico | Fundación ZOO KOKI
