A website called All Headline News collects news headlines from media outlets all around the world and collates them into a site listing headlines and a brief synopsis of the article. There are literally hundreds of topics covered, including zoos !

The site just links to the originating provider for the full story.

You can view the headlines and links to the full stories using a web browser, but they also have RSS XML feeds to allow you to view the headlines in an RSS aggregator - such as FeedDemon, which is what I use to keep up with news headlines (and it also notifies me of updates to this site !).

Do you reckon you could keep an eye on this , and send interesting titbits about zoos in our region to various folders ; eg NZ Zoos , (state) zoos , humourous zoo story etc. You are certainly more IT savvy than I am !

Yeah sure, I can put links to the interesting articles.

A lot of them are a bit more mundane, like "San Francisco zoo is looking for a mate for its polar bear", or "some performer playing concerts at some zoo somewhere". But I will copy stuff that I think sounds interesting.
