This is the obituary page for closed zoos. First one Cape Fear Serpentarium 2001-2018, located in Wilmington, NC. One of the great venomous snake collections. The founder, who was murdered last year, was one of the foremost Bushmaster experts. The Serpentarium had over 50 species of reptiles, primarily venomous snakes. Due to financial constraints, the Serpentarium closed a few weeks ago.
