Congrats nayer and Jacobea! nayer: it can be hard to find a good manager. A manager can only be excellent in his specialization. It would be enough if his specialization bar is green and long. All other bars can be red or blue. General managers doesn't have green bars as far as I know. If you want to go for general it would be enough to find a manager with blue bars all around. Edmond's well settled in I'm struggling to get a good manager too. I get the ones specialised in management, as advised, but every one I've hired so far has been crap, frankly. I have tried to train 'em-doesn't work A good manager seems to be about the hardest good employee to get.

Excellent managers as well as vets and cooks can be very hard to find. But you can also be very lucky and find a great one at the beginning. Try to pick up the most expensive ones. Yet another silly Q as I'm feeling too tired to look it up How much reputation with the WAF do I need to buy exotic animals (African Zone) from them? I've donated over a 1000, but when I tried to buy a couple of gemsbok, it said it didn't trust me.
It isn't a silly question. A gemsbok is a common animal not a rare! I never heard before someone wasn't able to buy a common animal ... Did you make black market transactions? You have to decide playing with WAF or with black market. For the black market way you need a manager with excellent monkey skills. How is your WAF reputation (rank)?
As far as I know, I've never bought an animal from the black market (although I might have accidentally without realising it). I always buy WAF animals, although my rank with 'em is still only blue, so that may be why I couldn't buy some gemsbok
My bar is also blue all the time. You can see your rank (number) in "My Honours Board" and "My Rankings". I really don't know why you aren't able to buy a common animal and I never heard of that before. I don't have experiences with the black market Please ask in the mondozoo forum. Selling newborns to the WAF is the best way to increase reputation. Donating LOL could also help a bit. You can see in your statistics how many black market transactions (selling and buying) you did. And your WAF rank could give you a hint what is going on with your reputation. Ask in the MondoZoo Forum for help.
