Two elephant calves due in 2013 to "Sabie" and "Punda". A third cow "Sweni" has unfortunatly lost her calf due to Salmonella Zoo Wuppertal: Zwei Elefantenkühe sind trächtig - Elefantenkuh Sweni verlor ihr Kalb durch Salmonellen

The zoo has received its first ever two toed sloth from Amazon world, UK, the male is to be kept in the tapir house.
If anyone has a map of Zoo Wuppertal I'd greatly appreciate seeing it. A few years out-of-date and German is fine, as long as the text is large enough to be readable. Nothing on google maps for this zoo. My last resort aka openstreetmap has a basic overview with many of the exhibits, but several are missing. I'll visit later this month, but I only have half a day and would prefer to be able to plan in advance (no detours for suricates, petting goats and alike)
Condor, I was at the Wuppertal Zoo this past May, so I got a map of it. I'll have to scan it and then send it to you. I'm a bit busy for the next week or so, but I'll do this for you in a week or so, if you'll remind me. ANyhuis
