Largely follows the same pattern as Posts - the peak upload time is slightly earlier and a bit higher.

Kind of all over the place - but not really surprising given the relatively low comment volume.

Does this mean that new joining members are getting younger? No! It just means the rest of us are getting older!! :p

Note that we only had 71 members join who entered a birth year into their user profile (of the 600+ total who registered in 2018) - so the data isn't complete.

Surprised to see Toronto Zoo so high up the list? Is that because there aren't as many major zoos in Canada to choose from? Or is it a population centre thing?

Well Toronto is not so lovingly referred to by the rest of Canada as the centre of the universe!
I think the high number of users citing Toronto Zoo as their home zoo is the result of several factors. Population certainly has something to do with it, as Toronto has the fourth largest population in North America (behind only Mexico City, New York and Los Angeles). Then you factor in the lack of other major zoos nearby, it seems natural that people from the area (including the rapidly growing populations outside of the city) to list Toronto as their home zoo.
Another factor is possibly that the Toronto Zoo threads have a couple of long time members who have lots of institutional and historical knowledge about the zoo thus creating a community for newer members to easily integrate into.

There may be more people from the US visiting the site than the UK, and more people from China visiting than from Australia - but people in the UK interact with the site more than the US and lots of people interact more with the site than people from China.

This is just showing the top 25 countries - but even so, I don't think North Korea is on the list - nor do I think they have much in the way of internet access there.
