Visited two zoos that should be good for this challenge, but with the temporary closure of the bird house at the first zoo, and the second zoo having almost all of their fowl off-show because of the avian flu, my total this year is a lot less than it should/could have been.

    1) Madagascar teal, Anas bernieri
    2) Madagascar partridge, Margaroperdix madagarensis
    3) Helmeted guineafowl, Numida meleagris
    4) White-faced whistling duck, Dendrocygna viduata
    5) Fulvous whistling duck, Dendrocygna bicolor
    6) Helmeted curassow, Pauxi pauxi
    7) Bar-headed goose, Anser indicus
    8) Californian quail, Callipepla californica

    Burgers' Zoo, 11/02/2018:
    9) Argus pheasant, Argusianus argus
    10) Satyr tragopan, Tragopan satyra

Me and @Vision noted the huge duck collection at Koln, in fact I'm astonished they could all fit in the relatively small Rhino House.

You're telling me! There I was, walking around trying to find SOME species for this challenge and coming up with very little (not to mention getting more and more disappointed when I saw what species would normally be in the lakes were it not for the weather), and then upon entering the rhino house (which only opened later in the day due to the red river hogs in the house having new piglets), I was astonished to find ALL of their species from the lakes bar a few (which I had already seen in closed aviaries on the islands in the middle of the lakes) in there! And more in an aviary round the back of the house! It was pretty nuts haha

Sadly not, the house was too humid and my lens kept fogging up :(

Damn, it's a small pet hate of mine that so few places have hand warmers at the entrance to hot humid exhibits, trying to warm up lenses otherwise is a nightmare!
