I am also on a trip to the Northern Rein Westfalia, since is the area with the most ungulate rarities, that I miss, but a cancelled plane to Düsseldorf broke my initial 7 zoo plan. That's way today I decided to squeeze 3 zoos that I know well and can navigate fast.

    124. Baird’s Tapir (Tapirus bairdii)
    125. Yellow-backed Duiker (Cephalophus silvicultor)

I want to express my big gratitude to @KevinB, who informed me that the last Sender-horned Gazelle is on-show. Being at Cologne I decided to try my chances for the only Bovid species in European zoo I was still missing. I missed the species twice in Planckendael, arrived too late at San Diego and was unlucky at Bronx. You can imagine what great experience it was to see her up close and to spend time in front of the enclousure.

Very nice! In the first post Jake said there are 136 possible taxa. You're still missing bighorn sheep and American moose. Any others you know of?

Thank you @Penshet! There are actually 137, if I'm not mistaken. @ShonenJake13 can double check? I'm still missing 6: American Moose, Bighorn Sheep, Pyrenean Chamois, Lesser Kudu, Roan and Malayan Tapir. I was planning to have the last three already, but canceled plane changed the plans.

Just the one to add and 6 more possible in the UK by my reckoning (7 if Chester still have the Chevrotain but someone posted they were gone?) plus the Russian Sika at Watatunga, where I won't be going this year now!

The species just arrived at the Tierpark Berlin. Perhaps the Chester's animals?

I don't know, but what surprises me is that you don't have Malayan Tapir or Roan, got them easily early on at Port Lympne and lesser Kudu at Marwell.

The Roan and the Lesser Kudu need bit more effort, but I thought will get the Malayan Tapir easily at Madrid. Looks like it left the collection. I planned to visit Dortmund to see both the Roan and the Tapir, but been unlucky with the plane. Had a chance to visit Antwerp, but prioritised the Slender-horned gazelle at Planckendael. Still no Malayan Tapir :)

I organized this trip through Nederland, on the way back home with the idea to get the Bighorn Sheep. As you know, the species already left Arnhem, but I used the opportunity to take two more species. Rotterdam has adorable Malayan Tapir baby, BTW. There is no chance for me to reach Obterre this year, but still have some hope for the other three.

Sometimes, when one door is closed another opens. I had a whole day in Vienna and was considering to re-visit Schönbrunn or visit Haus des Meeres. Than the news for the Bratislava's new pair of Lesser Kudus reached me and I made easy decision. Since is one of the most sensitive to cold weather Ungulates, I was thinking that I am running out of time for this species.

134.Southern Lesser Kudu (Tragelaphus imberbis australis)

How many places in Europe have indoor access for the Lesser Kudu? Basel, Marwell, Dvur Kralove?
