Would Disney’s animal kingdom count? I’m down at Orlando on Tuesday and planning on checking out their enclosures.

I don’t see why not. Seaworld counted for myself and it’s about the same type of place as DAK.

    Today at Wellington Zoo.

    1) Small-clawed Otter Aonyx cinerea
    2) Sun Bear Helarctos malayanus
    3) Tiger Panthera tigris
    4) Lion Panthera leo
    5) Serval Leptailurus serval
    6) Caracal Caracal caracal
    7) Dingo Canis [lupus / familiaris] dingo
    8) Cheetah Acinonyx jubatus
    9) Meerkat Suricata suricatta
    10) Red Panda Ailurus fulgens

And that's pretty much me done for the year. There are only five other Carnivore species on display in New Zealand (domestic Ferrets excepted): Fishing Cat, Bobcat, and African Hunting Dog at Hamilton Zoo, and New Zealand Fur Seal and Subantarctic Fur Seal at Auckland Zoo.

That's annoying for you! Do you get much of an opportunity to go abroad to visit other zoos?

Wow, everyone's list are starting to grow! I gotta visit Toronto Zoo soon so I can see the pandas before they leave. That, along with the zoo's already good amount of Carnivora, will get me into a high spot on the list.

I try to get overseas once a year, and I usually visit a zoo or two when I do so. However this year I do not think I will be going anywhere.
