They *were* listed on ZTL at one point but there is a persistent editor who keeps deleting any listings where a species is not mentioned on the zoo website, whether or not the species is gone or not - looks like they removed the listing for Newquay at some point. Have reverted the edit now.

I took some photos of them both this morning. They were very active and easy to see as a keeper was around.

Right a quick update after a visit to Woburn Safari Park just before it comes off the free entry for Chester Members produced a couple more and 1 which doesn't count as its a hybrid!I have also added the hybrid at the end of my total just for fun as there is a chance I could see a couple of other hybrids before the end of the year!I suspect my total will creep up slowly as this challenge was always going to be a marathon and not a sprint!

Thanks! Was already thinking of doing Woburn this coming Saturday - this may be the clincher!

I would give them a ring and check as they said it could be finishing at the end of this month and not June when I rang last week!

I'll take my chances - don't mind paying if it's finished (hardly going to avoid Woburn for ever more!) - but if I go it will almost certainly be Saturday and so still this month anyway! :p

The reciprocal free entry to Woburn with Chester Membership has already stopped according to the Safari Park.

Went back to my original idea of Whipsnade in the end! :D

I'd been put off by the fact the Tommies wouldn't be on show yet but decided that, as I had no idea when they would be going on show, I'd just go and see the impala anyway. Had a very good day too - and a unexpected but welcome opportunity for a catchup with a fellow Zoochatter as it turned out!

Visits to London Zoo ( Friday ) and Cotswold WP today have taken my total over 40 .

I am not doing this with any expectation of winning , but am really enjoying the Challenge . It gives me a focus for Zoo visits as well as a good excuse for visiting more collections than I might otherwise .

London Zoo had very young white-naped mangabey and colobus . Cotswold has quite a few ring-tailed lemur babies and yet another baby siamang . The new pair of sifaka are together .
