Dallas needs to win this - by a *lot* - to advance. Omaha could theoretically get away with a loss, but it probably needs the win too. The topic? Miscellaneous mammals.

Based on that list it looks Dallas doesn't stand a chance. I'm going 3-0 for now.

Found a Dallas review from 2013 with all the species listed - however @ThylacineAlive might want to give an updated list.
Review of Dallas Zoo [Dallas Zoo]

    Looks like the selection is:

    Virginia Opossum
    Red Kangaroo
    Bennett's Wallaby
    Koala
    Giant Anteater
    Domestic Rabbit
    Naked Mole Rat

I feel like Omaha may win this one...

Some more Dallas sources which only add Rock Hyrax to your list:

    2015 Review:
    Dallas Zoo Review

    And YouTube Full Tour:

Their webpage is not very informative, but mention Porcupines in wild encounters section.

This is going to be a demolition job. I'm voting 3-0 Omaha

    Six-Banded Armadillo
    Giant Anteater
    Naked Mole-Rat

....That's all I've got. I don't even remember any marsupials from Dallas tbh.

As far as Omaha goes, I don't think they have hyrax anymore and their agoutis aren't St. Vincent but non-sub (with one ssp. cayana), but aside from that I think that list is correct. The rock-wallaby enclosure is pretty horrid from what I can tell but aside from that I don't remember any particularly bad enclosures. They do have a lot of bats and their nocturnal house even has a bat room! I think the winner is clear here.

The Australian animals are gone now. They do have southern tamandua, capybara, and beaver as well, which are used in some of the educational shows. There’s also an armadillo in the children’s zoo.
    So:
    Virginia opossum
    Giant anteater
    Rabbit
    Naked mole rat
    Six-banded armadillo
    Rock hyrax
    African crested porcupine
    Southern tamandua
    American beaver
    Capybara

More species than often given credit for but I’m still going 3-0 Omaha. A case could be made for 2-1 instead (and actually I would be considering it on exhibit quality grounds, as many of Omaha’s bat enclosures especially are poor) but Omaha is overwhelming here.
Desert kangaroo-rat, Eurasian harvest mouse, and Cairo spiny mouse are also kept.

    3-0 Dallas for me.

I wish this matchup could've taken place a bit later in the week, as I'm visiting Dallas as I'm going to the Dallas Zoo in 4 days. While I'm sure it wouldn't change my vote, it would've been interesting to see Dallas's exhibits first-hand.

Yep, typo. I meant 3-0 Omaha (which is where my vote went).

Exhibits are hardly a factor for Dallas here as the only animals with exhibits listed are Giant Anteater, rabbit, Rock Hyrax, and Naked Mole Rat, none of which have particularly poor exhibits or good ones. All of the other animals are in their educational programs.

Dallas did have Koala and Grey Kangaroos at one point but they completely closed down that area and sent them away from the collection

Is this the most one-sided result in the history of the Zoochat Cups?

It is not. One of the first matches had Wroclaw completely shut out SDZSP 90-0.

Having visited Dallas today, I thought I'd do a little breakdown of Dallas's miscellaneous mammals. Voting has already closed but I thought it might be of interest to at least a few people.

Virginia Opposum, Six-Banded Armadillo, Beaver and the Southern Tamandua are all educational animals (I only saw the Porcupine), which can be seen in an animal encounter stage next to the Hippo exhibit.

Now to the actual exhibits. Giant Anteaters and Capybara live in an average, grassy enclosure in a quiet area of the zoo. I only saw the Anteater, so maybe they rotate going on exhibit? I'm not sure, but I liked the exhibit. Nothing much to say about the Rabbits, Naked Mole Rats have a boring exhibit in the Children's Zoo and Rock Hyrax live in a very good kopje exhibit with Klipspringers.

... And that's it. Dallas is a really good zoo but is terrible when it comes to misc mammals. 3-0 was definitely that call for me and I'm surprised Dallas even got a single point.

That vote was by Elephantelephant and I suspect it may have been to do with elephants rather than the actual category...

Even if so, both zoos have a strong case.

But even still, Omaha also has an Elephant so they would cancel each other out. Although Dallas does have a terrific Elephant exhibit.

To be fair to Elephantelephant the Misc. Mammals category does feature manatees, aardvarks and elephant shrews, assuming elephants are in this category is more forgiveable than in the Pairi Daiza match.
