One open spot for a no-show I really need, and one more that I can fill up if I inevitably get back to Zie-ZOO later this year.

Unfortunately the tail is hairless in this animal, which had patches of hair loss (mostly) on one side of its body: Hairless patches & yoghurt pots, Jan 2020 - ZooChat

Well that is unfortunate. The Taurus squirrel is "more reddish" than the other, but when I can only compare species through photos on the internet that isn't too helpful in itself - to me the first photo you posted looks like what I might call "reddish", but the second photo clearly doesn't even though they are the same animal. From the second photo I'd say xanthoprymnus.

Antalya is obviously right beside the Taurus Mountains too, which complicates the matter.

I will put the photo in the rodent thread under xanthoprymnus, but I'll add a little notation to it.

Is it allowed to tactically change my list because the zoos I plan to visit have changed? Of course the change would be applied before visiting the next zoo and would only consider the last zoo I've visited.

Hoo Farm was a totally impromptu visit; we drove past it and I popped in for an hour. Unfortunately and embarrassingly, I still hadn't recorded my visit to Randers from two weeks ago. I thought this would just slow me down slightly, but actually I've lost a chance to record a 'w'

    WWT Slimbridge Wetland Centre (25/01/2020):

Slimbridge only has three mammals on show currently among the bird-heavy captive collection - I didn't see the water vole, and Lontra canadensis, while showy, is doubly-redundant here. The third one was both very visible and perfectly useful, however.

Bringing an unusually zoo-heavy January to an end (I will be doing one zoo in February, but probably only one and not for a couple of weeks, so banking some species now!). Even relying on its former glory, Los Angeles zoo still have mind-blowing collection, especially for Europen zoo enthusiasts. I saw more than 10 new mammal species/subspecies, few of which, unique for the zoo world. Have pictures from the 80's Los Angeles zoo and could assume, they were in the world's top 5 back then with Zebra duiker, Sumatran rhino, Giant eland and very modern husbandary for the era.
