Oddly enough, a bottlenose dolphin with atavistic hind flippers was found off the coast of Japan in 2006, so it’s not impossible for a dolphin to have hind flippers... Also, that book appears to be French, not Russian.
The dolphin on the picture has Ichthyosaurus-like tail. Also it looks like a fish with second dorsal fin because left hind flipper would be hidden behind the body fron this angle. The book is written and illustrated by Russians.
Are there any introduced ones there? I know in Japan and parts of South America they were introduced for sport fishing and multiplied.
