An albino wild felid (first one ever recorded in the country apparently) has arrived from a rural part of Colombia. DNA testing is yet to come back but it's believed to be a jaguarundi. I did! Thank you for confirming the species - its simply labelled as ‘albino cat’ there. It’s a lovely little zoo - I will do a review when I get a minute.

An Andean Bear was born at Parque de la Conservación, Medellin on 21st December. The zoo's breeding pair comprises of a five-year-old wild-born male that was rescued by wildlife authorities and a nine-year-old female that was bred at Cali Zoo.
