Anybody out there currently knows what's happening to the zoos in China? Specifically Wuhan Zoo? The Coronavirus outbreak are going pretty bad and I hope they are still be able to maintain the animals still in the zoo.
This is a thing I have been thinking about in recent days,how the zoos are doing with all the things that are happening,do zoos that are in lockdown zones have food,do staff is healthy.Ok, there are more questions than answers.
Almost all the major zoos are closed to public, while "closed to public" doesn't mean "closed". The zoo staff are on their duties and the animals are taken care of as usual.

Beijing Zoo and Guangzhou Zoo reopened to public on March 23. Chongqing Zoo will follow on March 25. More are expected to reopen in near future.
The first major zoo to reopen is Hangzhou Zoo, which has resumed normal hours since February 19. Most other zoos have been closed for about two months.
Wuhan Zoo reopened on April 22 after three months of shutdown. A Père David's deer fawn born recently was named "Reset" for the special occasion. Meanwhile, Chimelong Safari Park is scheduled to reopen on April 30, the last of major Chinese zoos to do so.
