After my visits in Antwerpen, Planckendael and Paradisio, you will find a description of those park (in French) on the website Zoos Passion, Visitez les zoos d'Europe en ligne Johan
just because I'm a complete arse: a few notes on paradisio. - there are no blue poison arrow frogs (dendrobates azureus), allthough the sign may say it. I provided the animals and they have phylobates terribilis, epipedobates tricolor, dendrobates leucomelas and dendrobates tinctorius. - the shoebill breeding is not only a european, but even a worldwide premier. - "royaume de ganesha" is an indonesian zone, not an indian. ok, done bullying. other than that it's a nice report with some great pic.
@Johan: Pas male, c'est vrai. But all those zoo-description on the site remember me at another site, called leszoosdanslesmondes. Is there maybe a special relationship between you and Jonas Livet? Or is it just a (indeed good) copy of his ideas?
Not that Jonas (whom I know personally) has the copyright to zoo websites in French, but if I didn't know better, I would have thought yours was Les zoos dans le monde. Jonas has a larger and better website though, but it is because he has maintained his for over 10 years. The design is the same, however, so I wonder...
Thank you Forumbully, I will correct those mistakes soon. For Zoomaniac and Baldur, I know personnaly Jonas too and it is sure that my website look like Les zoos dans le monde which is the European reference. My first idea was to complete his website with zoos that he doesn't describe like Stattgart, Praha or Arnhem si I asked Jonas if I can use his idea (you can find the link for leszoosdanslemonde) to complete it.
If anyone can help me, I'm putting together a database with statistics of some of the world's top zoos. Essentially, I need the annual attendance figures for the following Belgian zoos: Antwerpen, Planckendael Also need the #Species and #Animals for Planckendael Thanks!
